There are days in our lives,
When everything seems wrong,
You get very confused,
Then listen to a song

It takes you back in time,
To when you was free,
Enjoying every weekend,
That was you and me,

We all loved our youth,
Happy days of the past,
Growing up was great,
Its a Pity it never lasts,

When you have your children,
It makes you who you are,
A kind and loving parent,
Who is their superstar,

Looking forward now,
To the latter years of life,
All the children are grown up,
So its just me and the wife,

Lots of grandchildren,
To keep me busy,
By the end of each week,
My head feels dizzy,

We are who we are,
All we can do is our best,
Look after our own,
And forget about the rest,
